Kensie's first Dance Revue...

It has been such a crazy week and to top it off Cael started in with the stomach flu. I was worried sick that Kensie was going to get it and not be able to dance in her first recital. My Mom took her for the day to try and keep her healthy, but sure enough she threw up the night before. Cael had only threw up twice and then just complained of stomach pains for a couple of hours and then was fine. Luckily Kensie was the same and only threw-up once at about 10 pm. I gave her some Tylenol to help with her stomach pains so she could sleep through the night and when she woke up she was fine!!! Yahoo. We went and had Amy Stevenson do her hair like a little princess and then headed over to the review. She danced in the first session that was at 5:00 which was awesome because she wasn't tired and ornery. When we got there she started to get nervous with all the people. She wouldn't let me put her down and kind of threw a fit when I took her to get her pictures done. I told her that Lisa wouldn't let her dance if she didn't get her picture taken and she was fine for the rest of the night.

April Showers....

She had a crazy curl on the top of her head that kept coming in front of her face. It was all I could do not to go up on stage and fix it. Kensie kept combing it over with her hand, but next year I need to remember to pin some of it back.

The girls and the best Dance teacher ever...Miss Lisa!

The girls did awesome and not only did they not cry they actually danced their little hearts out. Good job girls! Kensie is so sad that dancing is over. She has loved going and asks on a daily basis when "Dan" is. Luckily Lisa has some fun summer camps planned that she can do to keep her busy.
