Literacy Program....

Two days ago Cael came home from school and told me that he had a part in a program. Before I could get a word out he followed by saying "But I told my teacher I couldn't come because I had wrestling practice so she gave my part to Nathan." I informed him that he could miss a night of wrestling practice to go to his program. It was a program to promote reading and each child received a free book. The 1st grade and 3rd grade each sang 3 songs and they had a speaker about improving your childs reading skills. The best part of the night was the pie & ice cream for refreshments.
