Today we attended the funeral of Casey's cousin JC. He unexpectedly passed away and my heart breaks for his family. We haven't seen him much lately, but when we were in High School I saw him all the time. He always came into Fros-T-Freez and would give us a bad time while we were working and then we would usually run into him on the weekend while draggin main. He didn't have much to say, but never missed an opportunity to tease someone. When he found out that I was dating Casey he went out of his way to tease me and on several occasions had me on the verge of tears. He loved to get me worked up and then would just laugh and go about his business. I know that was just his way of being friendly and we had some good laughs about it.
At his funeral service all the speakers did a great tribute to him and I was able to learn some new things about his life. After the service they lead his horse up to his final resting place. It was a very emotional day for his family and I hope they will be comforted during the difficult times ahead.
