Kensie's 4th birthday Party....

Another year of Kensie's life has come and gone. She is now the Big 4! She couldn't wait to open her present from us, so as you can tell she still has sleepy eyes. All she has wanted is a "silmist" from the Tinkerbell movies. I found this pack at target and couldn't pass up the price so she got all the fairies and was in heaven...or pixie hollow at least.

Her birthday landed on Saturday which was great for party planning, but unfortunately we had a funeral that morning. Brent Stevenson age 56, a long time friend/coworker of Casey's lost his battle with cancer. He actually had been business partners with Chris before him and Casey went into business together, but they have stayed friends and still worked together often. He was a super good guy and always was kind to me. When I had Cael, him and his wife Marianne were one of the first people to come visit us. I never forgot that, and my heart aches for Marianne as she deals with his loss. The funeral was wonderful and I felt the spirit so strong. Just a few days before his death he was finally able to go to the temple and be sealed. What a comfort to Marianne to know she will be with him again.

When I asked Kensie what she wanted for dinner she said, as usual, "Ma & Chee", so I modified the request and did Chicken Alfredo and baked Spagetti. It's pasta...right?

Snow Bunny

Yahoo it snowed today! The kids got right to work on their snowmen. Kensie declared this one was a bunny. They made several around the house....The Snow was Perfect for snowmen!

Halloween 2011...

Halloween is quite possibly my favorite day to go to work. Everyone is always creative in their costumes and we laugh....alot! There also is free lunch too! It's been a couple of years since I worked Halloween so I figured I better dress-up and take full advantage.

Smith-O-Lanterns...

After we got home from church today the kids got right to work on their pumpkins. Cael dug right in and Kensie posed for the camera. All girl... Anyway they looked so cute once we got the lights in.

Itsy bitsy spider....

Kensie's dance group performed down at the craft boutique. They did their Halloween dance "Itsy bitsy Spider" and they were the cutest spiders I've ever seen. Kensie loves dance and "shoo her booy"(as she calls it) the whole time.

Cornbellys

We finally made it to the famous Cornbellys at Thanksgiving point. I've always wanted to take the kids, but have yet to get there before the end of Oct. We headed up after Kensie danced at the craft show and decided to stop at our fav Mexican restaurant in Payson. As we walked in I recognized a Cowboy, his cute pregnant wife, and darling little girl. Yes, Eric and Jen were eating there and they happen to put us right next to them. It's been a while since we went to dinner with them so the universe must have took matters into it's own hands. We had a great time visiting with them before heading up.

We first hit the corn maze. Like I said it was our first time there and after spending some time in the maze we figured out that it was actually more like a treasure hunt maze. They had different signs through the whole thing that you had to find. We were too lazy to go back and get our card so we just found our way back out. The kids loved it and Kensie even got the chance to pee deep inside the corn. Honestly what I am I going to do with that girl?

They have over 40 fun attractions to do. The kids loved all of them.
