It's been years since we have been to Thousand Lakes. This is Casey favorite place to camp and hunt.
Unfortunately it is a draw only area to hunt so it
doesn't happen very often. Thousand Lakes is part of Fish Lake National Forest and borders Capital Reef. This picture shows us over looking Capital Reef. We had a good group go with us, Casey's family, my mom & dad, Hal & Elaine Anderson, Chris & Lynelle
Memmott, & Casey's uncles and family.
Cael had such a good time and is loving camping more and more. He would go and go and go until he couldn't handle it anymore and then finally give it up for a nap (99% of the time it was on the 4-wheeler). The baby did so good and never fussed. She went with us on the 4-wheeler the first day and loved every minute. We did a lot of riding and saw a bunch a neat places.

After the first day, my mom and dad decided to go in the truck down to Capital Reef and through
Cathedral Valley and then back to camp. We were all going on the 4-wheelers so they took
Kensie with them. From what is sounds like, they got into some
scary patch of road and did some rock climbing. My mom said that
Kensie never made a peep the whole time.
Kensie is so good to take, but she had a weird obsession with licking the table in our trailer (should we worry????). We also found a tree that Casey had carved our names on in 1999. I can't believe that we have been together for ten years. I'm going to find some old pictures of us and post them soon.
