Wicked....

When I woke up today I wasn't even planning on getting out of my PJ's so you can imagine how surprised I was when my Mom called and asked if I wanted to go to Wicked at Capital theater.  My mom had been invited to go with her friend Lisa, but unfortunately Lisa's mom had passed away in the night so I was asked to be her replacement.  I later found out that the tickets had been purchased 2 years before.  I'm so glad I went and consider it a once in a lifetime opportunity since Casey hates musicals and this show usually only plays in New York and such places.  I have been to plays before but never to one this amazing.  I loved it and had the best time.  Glinda was my fav....cuz she's popular!

London Olympics 2012....

We love the Olympics at our house and have been counting down the days until it would start.  This is the first year Kensie has been old enough to enjoy it and she of coarse loved the gymnastics.  One morning she set up her own competition....the pillows were her mat, chairs for the audience, backpack with her water, and she even found some americana ribbon in the drawer and then taped pieces to her legs with painters tape.  She is a goof.....

New Splash Pad....

We attended the grand opening for the New Splash pad in Nephi!  Yahoo....It's long over do.  The pool was origianlly build in the 50's and then at the first of the year they refinished the old pool and added the splash pad.  Soo fun...the kids LOVED it.  I know we will be spending many days down there and I hope my kids will become better swimmers.  Two weeks of lessons a year is just not enough.

Ute Stampede 2012...

We love the Rodeo and try to fit everything in.  We started the week off by watching them herd the livestock down main street.  I didn't grab a picture, but lucky for me it was the same as last year :)

My mom paid for all the kids to get a glitter tattoo.  Cael went western and Kensie got a barbie heart.

Mini Drill 2012

Kensie was excited for mini drill this year but was a little nervous since Kalee wouldn't be helping this year.  When I took her in she clinged right to Karson Dansie and didn't even look back.  It lasted three days with their performance being held on the last day.  She looked so cute doing all the military moves and yelling "Goooooo Mini Drill!" 

Kaitlyn & Kens

Kensie & Halle.  They got ribbons for doing the drill down.  I was so excited thinking she had placed, but found out later that all the younger kids got one.  She still thought it was pretty cool to get a ribbon.
