11 months

It's true, my baby is soon going to be a year old! She is acting so much like a toddler and is getting into everything! we can't get enough of her, especially her brother. Cael went deer hunting with Casey so me and Kensie went to the mall. first mother/daughter shopping trip. anyway, we were eating in the food court and Kensie must have been missing Cael because she would not stop talking to these cute little boys next to us. it was so cute. Like I said me and Kensie spent the weekend home without the boys. I think it was good for the kids to get some individual attention. Milestones...... She is still not walking, but she is getting more interested. She has a new love of pillows and giggles when she wrestles with them. She still says hel-lo, new word is Oh. I can now get a snap clip in her hair, finally! Loves to empty things out especially Cael's toys. She is getting sick of baby food and wants to eat and drink what we are. I have not attempted to take her bottle away and not looking forward to it. She is a girly girl and loves purses and jewelery. She waves and says bye-bye. Acts shy around people she doesn't know. Her favorite daycare lady is Jill and kensie snuggles with her when I drop her off in the morning. No new teeth. I think thats it.

First field trip

On Monday we went on Cael's first field trip to the red barn. All of the kids were excited to go on the wagon ride and of course Cael wanted to ride in the wagon with the hay (that had been rained on). After a few seconds my butt was completely wet. A lot of the kids were excited to see the tractor and hay. Cael was confused about this since everyones grandpa is a farmer! right? When we got to the patch Cael ran to the first pumpkin he saw and wanted to claim it. It's stem had been broken off so I talked him into the one with a stem. He then got ornery (hunger) and wanted to go back to the wagon. After we got back to the wagon he tried to lift the pumpkin and broke the stem off. So much for getting one with a stem! When we got back to the barn he ate his donut and we wandered through the store. After looking through every bit of candy he finally decided on two apples, one for him and his dad. This made a very good impression on his teacher (wink)! But i assured her that this was a rare occasion!

Good Bye Summer!

It turned out to be a nice afternoon on friday so me and the kids went to the park to celebrate good weather. Kensie took her first ride in the swing and squealed the whole time. The park is such a good way for Cael to burn off energy, I dont know what I'm going to do when it snows!

When Casey gets bored~

My house is his first victim! Since we are fastly approaching our house's fifth birthday we thought maybe we would finish a few things that we have been wanting to do since the day we moved in. Well Casey took this a little far and now my house is a mess! Hopefully we will be back to normal soon! I will post pictures of the final result when they are complete, if they ever get completed!

Wild Girl is ten months old!! She is into everything and has now reached the phase where she has to be entertained. She had an ear infection and I was hoping maybe that was the cause of the clingie-ness, but Mr. Ear infection is now gone and she still is my shadow. She also has mastered the steps and loves to bounce up and down when she gets half-way up, so I have to watch her like a hawk! Her first words are ma ma, hell-o, da da. Waves bye-bye. Sings along with music especially at church. . She is still crawling like a maniac and has not even tried to take steps. She loves pop and attacks anything in a cup. Her hair is still crazy as ever and the other day I had a "hillbilly" type man stop us at Maceys and commented on how Un-cute her hair was. It was nice coming from a person with a mouth full of gold teeth. It so fits her personality so I love it wild!

1st day of school

It was Cael's first day of school at Wilde 4 learning preschool. He's not been so sure about this going to school so we took him up shopping and got him new clothes, backpack, and pencils. It must have worked because he couldn't wait until 9:30 this morning. He kept asking if we could go. He did whine a little when I dropped him off, but he got over it. When I went to get him he came running out and the first thing he told me was that he had put his belt in his bag. I asked why and he said that he had went to the bathroom and couldn't buckle it back up. So I asked if his teacher put it in there and he said "no I didn't tell her". He must have been to embarrassed to ask her to buckle it. He said they went outside and looked for the "gingerman". and after found him they got to color him with frostin (it looked like crayon). But over all he had fun and hopefully he can make some new friends. I too have started taking classes at night and the other day Cael asked where I was going. When I told him school he said "mommies don't go to school".

My little Kensie is into everything. The other day I walked out of the room and Cael must have left the fridge open because I came back this is what I found. She squealed when I caught her and cryed when I shut the fridge. I also forgot to post her 9 month stats.

She walking around furniture and will stand alone. She is even standing up by herself without pulling herself up.

Her nickname is wild girl because of her wild hair and personality.

She will now say mama and today I thought she said hello. She will wave bye-bye too.

She did cut 4 teeth last month which makes her have 6.

The other day she tried to steal Abbie's baby so I got mine out of the storage room and she has loved them. We need to get her some girl toys before she starts thinking she is a boy because she plays with tools and cars all the time.

She loves our dogs and giggles when they get close.

through a childs eyes

Lately Cael has become obsessed with my camera. I sat down today to upload my pictures and was surprise when I had 47 to upload. I haven't had time to check how many he had been taking. My little man had been very busy and I thought they were to cute to delete. The car/4wheeler was taken at the fair parking lot, jakoye's legs in our kitchen, grandma at the diaper derby, Kensie, a roll of electrial tape, and his watering boot. Move over Kimo there's a new photographer in town! They remind me of the end of "rainman". too funny

Busy, Busy & Busy

What a busy month! There has been a lot of things going on around here the last month and with the Olympics on at night I have not wanted to play on the computer. (That being said I would like to apologize to all the people who are mad at me for not posting in such a long time! I will try to be better) First of all Cael took swimming lessons the first of the month and loved every minute of it. (next phelps?) Him and Gavyn loved playing shark and motor boat, motorboat. Gavyn was especially good at playing the shark and told us after that he "ate all the fissy's". Cael loved doing "tiggerbounces" to the other side and playing like he was a choo-choo along the wall. He would not go down the slide even though he told me every morning that he wanted to. He can't wait until next year. Last week was the county fair and we tried to go to everything we could. We started the week off on Wednesday when Cael rode a sheep in the junior rodeo. He was so excited until he saw all the other kids crying when they fell off. Casey was helping him on when he started to change his mind and told Casey that he wanted to get off. Casey turned around and told them to open the gate. He lasted a few seconds at least long enough I got a picture of him falling off. At first he said he liked it but was not doing that again, but now he says he will do it next year. When we got in the car he yelled "oh man, we forgot my belt buckle!" I explaned to him that he will have to stay on next year to win. Kensie competed (well tried to compete) in the diaper derby, she thought playing in the grass was much more fun. little stinker. We also went to the atv rodeo and the derby which were both fun and kept us busy. Lately Cael has been such a sweetheart and a big helper. He is acting so old and is starting to say the funniest stuff. He sounds like a 30 year old man in a 3 year olds body. The other night he was laying on the couch with Casey and I was laying on the other couch watching the Olympics. I had just laid down when he asked me if I wanted his blanket. what a cutie. then last week he came in with something behind his back and said mom I got somethin for you. I said what? Aaaaaa boogerfinger! I said a what? Cael: no a buggerfinger. Me: a what? Cael:" I mean a handfinger." Thank goodness when he showed me what he was talking about is was a butterfinger. He has been loving to go to the farm with the guys. The other day he was on with Chad when Travis stopped to ask how much longer he was going to be. Travis said they talked for a few minutes when Cael all of a sudden yelled "get to work"! My dad hopes he keeps up his enthusiasm so he can help when he is old enough.
